Industrial Recense came into being in 1953 in a small workshop dedicated to the manufacture of sickles. Very soon their commercialization spread beyond Galicia taking Galician craftsmanship to every corner of Castile.

Its founder's enterprising spirit led him to develop new production lines more in keeping with a Spanish society undergoing change.

The company evolved towards the construction sector, producing mainly iron fittings and fixtures, which it began to market under the Recense trademark.

In 1999 the company moved to its new site, in the A Pontenova industrial park, continuing the development process initiated in 1980.

Occupying a total surface area of 10,000 sq.m, 6,000 of which correspond to covered installations, Recense has equipped itself so it can adapt to the needs of its customers and the demands of a sector in continual development.
